I can't imagine what it must be like to have a child or baby in hospital.

When a child suddenly becomes ill, there’s no time to plan. The Sick Children’s Trust is the charity that gives families one less thing to worry about by giving them a place to stay, and someone to talk to, free of charge just minutes from their child’s bedside. 

This is a particular close issue to my heart, as a good friend recently gave birth to her son 10 weeks prematurely and this charity gave her vital support.

On Saturday I will be climbing Ben Nevis, the UK's highest mountain, at night. I'm hoping to reach the summit in under 6hrs.
