In support of our most intelligent and dignified cousins the Orangutan, I am having to explain my facial hair in terms of the inner ape. It is a very long process cultivating a beard of description for the cause of our wonderful cousins, but there is only so much we can do, and in the big scheme of things, my contribution will be small. If all our contributions will be small, the greater contribution will be enormous. I have very rarely been a supporter of animal related charities in the past, but maybe it is my involvement as a father that has led me to help support this wonderful charity and the cousins of man that I choose wholeheartedly to support. It is a choice of now. For me the actions of deforestation are like a war crime on our cousins, where children are separated from their parents, are sold as slaves, humiliated and butchered. The parents don't stand a chance as they are often seen as a barrier to the farmers and hunted out like rats. These are our nearest relatives and they hold no malice.
So I colour my beard for the apes. If you would help fundraise, even a few pounds and pennies, I would be very grateful. Please watch the short film above, even as an eye opener.

Love you all
