After watching and donating to the 1989 C.I.N. tv show I decided that the following year I should not only donate but do my own thing as well and become a fundraiser myself .

This, over the past 29 years of collecting has resulted in me :-

Dressing up in a deep sea diving gear , carrying my treasure chest about and collecting in Leeds city centre for many years and places that I have worked .

Walking the Bradford Ringway walk of 32 miles . 

Cycling between Blackpool and Scarborough .

And, finally for the last 22 years a Pram push between Ilkley and Leeds a distance of about17 miles. 

This all started after my son Daniel ( who was born 3/3/98 ) was put in his pram and pushed by me and my Dad (Alan) back home from Ilkley . As the years rolled on Daniel has walked along with us pushing the pram as well . Dad's no longer with us and Dan has been away at Uni but the pushes have still continued . 

I'm planning this year to do 2 pushes , 

The first on 31st October Ilkley - Leeds . 17 miles

The second on 13th November hopefully pushing :-

 ILKLEY - LEEDS  and back to ILKLEY about 34 MILES !!!!!

Last years pushes raised just short of £5.5k and I have a running total for the Pram pushes of £77k .

Over the 29 years I have raised a grand total of £110,000 and counting .
