Story

Despite the very best efforts from Stephen and all the staff at Good Hope Hospital, Stephen lost his short battle with cancer on 14th Jan 2014 at just 31 years old.

A life cut short in its prime, Steve lived life to the full and lived every day for his friends and family. Steve showed such determination and a fighting spirit all the way through his illness and his sense of humour was always present...the raise of an eyebrow, a double thumbs up, a cheeky grin or a flirt with his favourite nurses. Steve's high regard for his friends and love for family gave him great comfort and strength during this time.

Stephen will be missed greatly, whether it's an empty seat at the dinner table, his beloved car missing from the drive or an empty place at the bar in the Packhorse pub. We all have such fond memories of Stephen and such lovely stories that will keep him alive in all our hearts forever.

Steve would have wanted some good to come from his illness so by donating a small amount of money that could offer another family affected by cancer a ray of hope, we know Stephen would be all for it.

Instead of flowers, we would love people to donate money to Beating Bowel Cancer in memory of Stephen. He will never be forgotten.
