Well, I did it! Today (Friday 31st October) I ran 5 kilometres (3.3 miles) in memory of Ester Gluck and I am so grateful for all the support I have received and the generous donations from so many wonderful friends. The Separated Child Foundation has been set up in memory of Ester, who was so dedicated to her work with refugee families, especially those children who have also lost their parents.. As a friend of Ester, I did this run to honour her memory. As a Jew, I feel it important that having been refugees ourselves so many times in our history, we do what we can to help new refugees fleeing persecution, famine, torture and more.
