I have decided to accept the Mad Hatters Bike challenge and cycle to Paris.  I would love you to join me by encouraging your staff to join in and if you would like to match fund them, that would be fantastic!

 

Mad Hatters is a  registered charity which i started some 8 years ago as a one off!  We give the best party there is to sick and disabled children which is great fun.  I am proud and delighted to say that we have now reached some 10,000 kids and this number continues to grow.

We need to expand and do more, providing special equipment and more treats etc.  We do not have a massive fundraising department and rely on the generosity of our friends.

If you would like to take part I will arrange a static bike delivered to your workplace to borrow.  All you need to do is contact me.

In the meantime I am starting my 277 miles cycle ride from the comfort of the television room at home! Believe it or not this is the first time I have ever asked for sponsorship for my efforts so please be extra extra generous.  I hope to complete my solo effort in the next four weeks! 

As we approach Christmas and spend too much money on our own kids and grandchildren, I'm asking for the many children we help via the charity.  Pretend there is one more to buy a special present for.  Our days out are often the only holiday treat they get .

Help me reach a big target.  I need to set an example to all those taking part .
