Help Musicians in honour of Ste

Hackney Half Marathon 2021 · 26 September 2021 ·
In memory of Stephen John Collins (1983-2021), we are raising funds for HELP MUSICIANS.
Ste was a beautiful human being. He was kind, gentle, loving, funny, sweet, caring and conscientious. He loved and was so deeply loved - most closely by his family around him: Marion, Richard, Laura, Simon, Molly (11), Wilf (8), Martin, Kate, Alfie (7), Emily (3), Jenny, Ben and Georgia.
Ste was a wonderful son, younger brother, big brother, brother-in-law, uncle, life partner and friend. He was the easiest company and the easiest person to love.
His life was too short, but it was so full. Full of love and family and adventures - travelling all over the world, road tripping, eating oysters and long, languorous Saturday lunches, champagne, giggling, dancing, swimming, canal cycles, exploring nature and beach walks. Full of constant humming and piano practice and working hard on his latest track.
We are so fortunate to have the legacy of Ste’s music left behind, forever our connection to him. Please listen below to the songs of his that we chose to be played at his funeral in June - it was a very intimate time of reflection and immense gratitude for his life:

On 26th September 2021, a group of Ste’s family and friends will be running the Hackney Half Marathon in his honour, to raise funds for HELP MUSICIANS.
Musicians are three times more likely to experience severe depression, panic attacks and high levels of anxiety compared to the general public. HELP MUSICIANS provides direct support, free of charge, 24/7 to everyone working in the UK Music Industry - and most importantly, every therapist understands the music profession and the challenges that can impact the mental well being of those working in the industry.
Thank you for supporting a very important cause.
We will love you forever and ever, Ste.
