Great West Run 2022
Campaign by Hospiscare (RCN 297798)
Exeter Great West Run is an exciting half marathon (13.1 miles!) through the heart of Devon's capital. Hospiscare is on a mission to get local people running the local half marathon to support their local Hospice. Could you be a Hospiscare Hero?

Story

If you live in Exeter, Mid or East Devon, Hospiscare is your local adult hospice charity. Should you or a loved one need care for any type of terminal illness, our professional team of doctors and nurses are here to help. Our services are provided irrespective of race, religion, age, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, mental or physical disability, diagnosis or place of national origin.

Hospiscare have looked after several friends and members of my family at the end of their lives.  Their service has given enormous relief both to the dying person and to their families.  We want that service to be able to continue.  The lack of major events in the lockdown years has hit charities like Hospiscare hard, so we want to make a special effort this year.  And you can sponsor me with confidence, because if covid or anything else strikes me down and stops me joining the GWR, I promise I'll run a half marathon round the Exeter Green Circle to make up, as soon as I am well enough to do it.
