On Sept 11th 2011 the Staff at the Cotswold Medical Practice will be holding a fundraising walk/run in memory of our dear friend and colleague Sarah Painting (nee Pulham) who died last year. Sarah grew up, lived and worked in Bourton on the Water. She helped organise “Leg It” in 2008 and 2009, a fun community run/walk event which raised over £10,000 for Kate’s Home Nursing. When Sarah sadly died in 2010 following her short illness, both Kate’s Home Nursing and Sue Ryder Hospice were involved in making her last days more comfortable.

In memory of Sarah and to raise valuable funds for these two local and essential charities, Sarah's family, friends and patients will be walking a 10.8 mile circular route around Bourton on the Water.

The total amount raised will be split equally between the two charities, but due to technical complexities, all the donations made via the Just Giving website will be to Kate's Home Nursing.
