Step Up 2017 · 10 February 2017

The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We are a group from IT Support, Facilties, and Reception at the Bedford Franklin office of Capita Children's Services. Team members are:-

Sunitha Devadass, Kevin Hunter, Lorraine Rowland, Peter Steel, Neil Wilson, Jess Williams

We are taking part in Capita 'Step Up 2017', this is a challenge to take part in a virtual walk between Capita offices across the UK - from London to Cardiff to Belfast to Stirling.

The route is approximately 630 miles, which is around 1,260,000 steps; and will be achieved with roughly 10,000 steps a day for each team member participating.

We have undertaken this challenge as a good way to start the year by increasing our fitness and being more healthy, as well as supporting the youth charity, The Princes Trust.

The charity helps 13 - 30 year olds who are unemployed or are struggling at school to transform their lives. You can read more about The Princes Trust here:-
