House-to-House Challenge · 1 August 2020 to 30 September 2020 ·
We are taking on the House-to-House Challenge for Ronald McDonald House Charities. which will mean covering 1,000 kilometres and virtually visiting some of RMHC UK's Houses to help support more families with children in hospital.
Since Covid-19 hit, many of the UK’s sickest children have lay alone in hospital beds or cribs fighting for their lives. Their families are already at risk of being crippled emotionally and financially; RMHC UK is protecting them from further devastation and offering support.
Although restrictions have eased, many wards are only allowing one parent or carer to visit at a time, meaning that it's even more important to have somewhere comfortable to get a proper night's sleep at the end of the day - or somewhere families can take it in turns to get some rest on the hospital site.
We have all watched the brand new Ronald McDonald House Oxford being built and we're so pleased that the John Radcliffe Hospital has a fantastic facility for families to stay in during tough times.
Like many charities, RMHC has seen a significant income drop due to the cancellation of fundraising events - so please do give what you can in support of our fantastic Sterling group who are taking on this challenge to help families stay close to their sick child at this difficult time.
See you at the finish line!
