Douglas Macmillan Hospice (Dougie Mac) is the only hospice in Staffordshire supporting Children, Young Adults & Adults. Care is given to patients who are living with a life-limiting illness at our two sites and in the community. We also provide support for patients families and their carers.

Story

On Sunday 5th November 2017, we will be participating in The Wolf Run looking to raise as much money for the Douglas Macmillan Hospice. I have been lucky enough that 14 colleagues, friends and their family members have said that they will give their time up and participate in this obstacle course run all for a good cause. These are, (Tom Coates, Ben O'Toole, Vian Bromage, Adam Blockely, Tori Walker, Helen Porteous, Tanya Savage, Sylvia Russell, Becky Bennett, Alex Jeffries, Elizabeth Baker-MacDonald, Dan Whorwood, Philip Easthope, Hannah Wardle.)

Throughout our lives we may never need this service but will know people who have, who are or who will require services like this.

Douglas Macmillan Hospice is based in North Staffordshire and offers specialised care for patients over the age of 16 who are facing from a life-limiting illness when a cure is no longer possible also giving practical and emotional support to patients, their families, carers and friends.

Please help to support us and ensure that services like this can continue to function and offer the best care possible. Please donate no matter how small as all donations count.
