Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My name is Steve, and after winning gold in the Rio2016 Paralympics, I was asked to speak at the Sense Annual Awards as a motivational speaker. I was blown away when I met the staff, and volunteers who work for this amazing charity, not to mention the people they support. I was standing there speaking, but totally inspired by the group around me. It was pretty amazing

Sense asked me to be their ambassador at this years RAB, which for me is a huge honour. But as a cyclist, i wanted to bring something special to the event, and make it an adventure. I thought there is no better way to make an impact for Sense, than to ride my Sonder Fat Bike. A fat bike has super fat 4"+ tyres, making them look outrageous and grabbing peoples attention. They are not suited to riding on the road as the tyres are so big and heavy, the drag is brutal. Hence the adventure, an unknown outcome! I hope I'll be able to ride the 100 miles a day on this bike, and raise just £10 per mile for such an amazing charity. All i need is 969 amazing people, to kindly donate £10 and everyones happy! So please support me, support Sense and enjoy me suffering the Ride Across Britain!

THANK YOU
