O2e Remembrance Ride · 17 September 2009

O2e encourages and supports ordinary people to achieve extraordinary sporting and physical challenges. In so doing O2e aims to raise substantial sums of money to support terminally ill and disabled children and their families.

Story

Thanks for taking a look at my fund raising page at JustGiving.

I did it . 189 miles of hard graft through the alpine passes of Belgium. Please donate something to help terminally ill kids in the South East. Thanks again and here is the blurb from before the run:

After a training cycle from London to Cornwall in August I am now ready for Europe. On the 17th & 18th of September I will be joining a group of 100 riders of all ages, abilities and nationalities will set off from London's Cenotaph for a 200 mile cycle to Bruges, Belgium. Day 1 will see us tackle Kent's rolling hills en route to Dover, whilst on Day 2 we will work our way through the battle fields of Flanders. I'm hoping Belgium will be considerably flatter than Dorset and Devon.

Our main beneficiaries in 2009 are the Demelza House Children's Hospice, the only residential hospice in Kent, East Sussex and SE London caring for life limited children and their families,  (www.demelza.org.uk), and also Get Kids Going, an exciting charity that enables disabled children to take part in sports.

As always, all O2E participants pay all their own expenses, so every penny you pledge goes directly to helping seriously and terminally ill children. O2E was formed by a group of like minded individuals 3 years ago and has raised over £700,000 so far and continues to be run purely by volunteers.

Please give what you can. THANKS
