Like many others, inspired by Captain Tom Moore's fundraising efforts  I've been thinking of what I can do to help raise money for our NHS heroes. 

I've enjoyed seeing photographers around the UK raising money to help by taking "lockdown" pictures of families on their doorsteps (from a safe distance of course).

Well, I have a camera, and time, so I thought I'd join in too, so: 

I'm offering a doorstep portrait for Harpenden locals, in return for a small donation to NHS Charities Together via my Just Giving fundraising page.

A doorstep portrait will be a lovely way for you to remember this time during the lockdown, and I'm sure will be something you will treasure for years to come.  

As the project builds, hopefully it'll also become a social document of Harpenden during these strange times.

So if you live in Harpenden, can spare 5 to 10 minutes of your time, and would like to take part - I'd be happy to take a portrait on you and your family on your doorstep - between now and the end of May.

Obviously social distancing will be respected at all times, and the quick session should only take 5 to 10 minutes max. Very quick and painless!

I will e-mail you a high-res image in return, which you can print, share or enjoy however you'd like.
