Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I believe I'm capable of more than I ever thought possible. I believe that with your support I can make a difference to people's lives. That is why on April 17th 2011 I'm completing the London Marathon in aid of children's charity CKDCF.
The Charlie and Kathleen Dunnery Children's Fund was formed in 2002 by musician Francis Dunnery whose music and life story have inspired me to help him raise funds for children's health, wellness and educational needs in and around his hometown of Egremont, Cumbria.
CKDCF deliver real life-changing results for children. Recent contributions have been as diverse as hospital beds and entertainment units for a children's oncology ward, musical instruments for an elementary school, a children's library, playground refurbishments, donations to Meningitis Research Foundation and donations to a family to assist with mounting travel costs associated with their daughter's surgical and chemotherapy treatment.
CKDCF has no paid members; all operations, including legal, accounting, promotional and administrative duties are performed on a strictly volunteer basis meaning that your donations go directly to children in need!

Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.
