Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page
Maybe it's the way the world is now, or maybe I'm just getting old, but it seems like free time and spare money are pretty scarce, so the fact that you're here is already awesome.
I've been to the Children's Adventure Farm, and it really is a cool place, with things to do that I loved as a kid (and still do!) That children can spend time here and have their spirits lifted and laugh and smile is brilliant.
Back in high school, I used to train 6-7 days a week for cross-country (3 mile races) and athletics (various events). That was a long time ago now and a lot of smoking and lack of exercise has happened since. Training for this event almost stopped within about 20 minutes due to chronic knee pain that reduced me to a hobbling wreck. After a month of recovery, I got my gait/pronation analysed on a treadmill/computer and bought some trainers suited to my feet and running style (forefoot) as well as some heat-molded customised insoles.
Since getting the new running shoes, my knee pain quickly diminished and I'm well on track with my training for running the 10km event!
I know times are hard, but any amount of donation is welcome, it all adds up :)
