#TeamPurple are taking on the challenge of the Virgin Money London Marathon 2018 in aid of MS-UK to support those affected by multiple sclerosis. Sponsor them to help reach the target of £250,000!

Story

As most of you will know, my Dad, my Hero, Pete Holmes lost his fight with Multiple Sclerosis on November 15th 2016.

I grew up watching my Dad courageously fight MS - and what a fight he gave. He was my age when he was diagnosed and could quite easily have given in. For 28 years he fought the effects gallantly. It was inspirational to see him take on MS, never once complaining or showing the continuous pain he was in.

Thanks to MS-UK, I have been given the opportunity to run the 2018 London marathon in memory of him. I know he won't be looking out for me on the TV but will be with me every step of the way this time round. I won't lie, I have struggled losing Dad so I am asking for your support to help me raise as much as possible for MS-UK.

Thank-you in advance for any donation you are able to give. It really will help me through the training and race day XXX
