Emperor’s London to Amsterdam cycle 2022 · 13 May 2022

The Emperor Foundation—established in 2018—is a Charitable organisation, approved by and registered with The Charity Commission. It is the body that co-ordinates fundraising activity on behalf of Emperor and distributes funds to our chosen charitable causes.

Story

After a couple of covid postponements I’m finally cycling from London to Amsterdam with 60 of my Emperor colleagues. It’s our fourth time in 12 years and we always raise money for a cause close to our hearts. This year, through the Emperor Foundation, we are supporting Maggies, a fabulous charity that, from its centres located in hospitals around the UK, provides free support to those affected by cancer. This includes several Emperor colleagues, either battling it themselves, or supporting loved ones, and as many of you know we lost our Finance Director, Jill Cory Wright to cancer a few years ago. With Maggies being hit hard financially by the pandemic, we are determined to raise as much for them as we can.

Many thanks for your generosity in advance.
