Lewis Leap Sudden and Traumatic Bereavement Support Service provides early support across Scotland to those who have experienced a sudden and traumatic death. It has been shaped by those with lived experience. In memory of Lewis Johnson, to ensure his selfless spirit lives on.

Story

This summer Lauren and I are taking on a 2 day walk through some of the most beautiful areas between Scotland and England covering a distance of about 40km. We wanted to do something to show that even two city slickers can throw on the walking boots and keep up with the best. No matter what age you are, if you want to do something then do it! We can all take our own Lewis Leap!

Lewis Leap was set up to honour the life and spirit of Lewis Aien Johnson a kind, loving, funny and sporty boy who tragically died too soon.Lewis filled everyone's world with happiness - his smile was infectious you just couldn't help but grin back.Whatever he did, he did with such enthusiasm and energy he motivated others to have fun and enjoy themselves whilst always being kind and supportive.Lewis Leap wants to help local young people access opportunities, support & adventures to enable them to live full, satisfying & happy lives.
