Story
Hi,
I have set myself a goal in March 2022 to run 5 marathons in 5 days in and around Verwood, Dorset to raise funds for MS Society's Osborne Centre based in West Parley. I have seen for myself the amazing work they have completed for individuals who really do benefit from their charity and know that my attempts to raise money will have a significant impact this time due to the effects Covid19 has had on their fundraising over the past two years. I’m not usually a person that asks for donations but I feel they deserve as much support as I can muster and with this in mind I request any donations you might be able to give. I’m even willing to accept donations on a per marathon basis as I have my own doubts I will be physically able to complete the mammoth task I have set myself!
My attempt to complete the 5 marathons in 5 days will start at 11am on the 23rd March 2022 and I will be running/jogging and ultimately crawling around Ringwood/Verwood forest on a 8.7 mile loop, 3 times back to back per day. I welcome as much support as possible so if you feel like getting out in the forest for a run or cycle then come and join me, even if just for a little while :) Each loop will take around 1 hour 20 minutes, depending on the blisters!
