Inspiring giving has been our passion since 1996 when we started connecting philanthropists with exceptional charities, enterprises and community organisations. Our aim is to help strengthen local communities by providing sources of funding.

Story

Niamh Campbell died in India on 18th May, 2015. Niamh went to India as a volunteer with Project Trust in August 2014 to teach English, Maths and Science at a school in Bangalore.

‘To hear Niamh called a ‘Scots Charity Worker’ fills us with huge pride, but for that to come from her sudden and unexpected passing has left us heartbroken and devastated.  We now know how many lives she touched in a life all too short. Niamh was true to herself right up to the end. She was surrounded by friends being loving, caring, spontaneous and with a dog running by her side. We are heartbroken at the loss of our beautiful, bright, and caring girl.

We have been so fortunate to have Niamh in our lives, and to be able to give her opportunities. Niamh embraced these and her adventurous, courageous spirit was unstoppable.

We know that Niamh wanted other young people to get the same chances she had to be adventurous and to see other cultures and histories. This page has been set up to support young people, with the same drive, spirit, fun and courage that Niamh had to volunteer overseas.

Donating to Foundation Scotland means we can choose to distribute funds to any registered charity in the UK, making sure donations support those who need it most’.
