Story
Our stunning Somerset coast is 54 miles long. So whilst in lockdown and on furlough, I have challenged myself to cycle, run and row the entire length, mostly from the safety of my own shed!
Whilst in the middle of this terrible pandemic, some people have had the chance to engage a little more with nature as traffic has reduced and the pace of life has eased somewhat. Nothing lifts spirits finer than a dawn chorus or just taking the time to chase a butterfly.
Nature faces massive challenges in our county; from how we manage our land, from housing and business development and most of all from the Climate Emergency. During this pandemic and likely recession and hardships to come, charities like the trust will be challenged more than ever. A few extra quid for the Wildlife Trust will help restore nature. Please give all you can.
