Hospiscare's Men's Walk is going virtual for 2021 so each person taking part can set their own walk. In an effort to raise some funds for the charity I am planning to walk 100 miles in the week leading up to Saturday 20th March.

Our usual fundraising activities have obviously been curtailed this year and the charity are in dire need of additional funds. This is a way we can hopefully raise a bit to help out. Any donations will be gratefully received, thank you!

Hospiscare is a local charity, caring for terminally ill patients and their families across Exeter, Mid and East Devon. Their teams of doctors and nurses offer specialist palliative care, to ensure that patients can make the most of the time they have left. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Hospiscare are facing a loss of income of over £1 million. To put that into context, they have to raise around £8 million a year to keep their services going. I know the past year has been challenging for everyone, but I want to help make sure that Hospiscare can continue to be there for the local community - now and in the future.
