Story
Unfortunately it is highly likely that cancer will touch everyone's life, whether it is a family member or friend.
Those of us who have visited the Velindre Cancer Hospital will know the fantastic care the patients recieve by the hospital and staff. The hospital relies on part funding by donations and sponsorship which is why I have set up this page.
In January 2011 I will be climbing Mt Kilamanjaro, the highest free standing volcano in the world to raise funds for Velindre Cancer Hospital. I will be climbing for 7 days for an average of 7 hours a day to reach the summit where there is 50% less air and -30 degrees. (surely this is worth a donation)
I know this is a difficult time to ask for donations but cancer is not aware of this, so please donate whatever you can and help me raise as much as possible for this wonderfull hospital.
(( ** In memory of my lovely sister Patricia who died of breast cancer and Chris Davies a great friend and work colleague who died last year from liver cancer ** ))
