Steve has been to Romania for the last 3 years serving in a gypsy community in Lazareni with the Caleb Foundation are doing an amazing work educating children, meeting the desperate needs of a community to deposit hope into this generation to break the cycle of poverty.
In previous years we have helped by :-
Built a children's playground to help them experience joy.
Matt was part of last years team and was moved to go back this year and came up with an idea of cycling to Romania. Logistically that is not possible as we are both going back to Romania this year so we have decided to cycle the distance between Kings Church Bolton & The Caleb Foundation, Lazareni, Romania in the build up to the mission. We will need to cover 1518 miles between us from March to July this year.
Any donation will go straight into the heart of real need locally. This years projects will include the possibility of insulating another house and also giving towards a children's camp where we can contribute to children having an experience that will inspire them to seek an education and break the generational cycle of poverty.
Thanks so much for your support.
