In November 2021 my dad, Brian Roberts lost his life to cancer. He was diagnosed in July 2021 and although he knew it was going to be a battle that he could never win, he bravely fought the cancer for five long months. For the support my dad received, we want to give something back…….

Last year, my sister, cousin and I completed the Macmillan Mighty Hike half marathon. It was an amazing event and between us we raised approx £2000 for Macmillan. In July this year we are doubling the distance by completing the Peak District Mighty Hike marathon which is a 30 mile hike around the beautiful Peak District countryside.

As a team last year, we were so fortunate, and thankful that many of our friends and family supported us so generously. It’s a big ask but anything you can spare to support us again in our fundraising efforts for Macmillan is massively appreciated.
