We're dedicated to beating blood cancer. We fund research and support those affected. Since 1960, we've invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. The day we beat blood cancer is now in sight and our researchers are determined to finish the job.

Story

I was diagnosed with NHL in Nov. 2016.  unfortunately the first three phases of the then standard chemo's were unsuccessful. However, I was lucky to gain a place on a phase 1 drug trial which dealt with the cancer but I experienced  sever side effects. I am now fit and well but along the road to recovery I have come into contact with numerous people also affected by the dreaded big C, some of whom have not been as fortunate as myself. So I dedicate my run to all those family and friends who got me through the dark times, and a growing list of family, friends, and neighbours who have had their lives impacted by cancer. But a special mention to the  consultants and nursing staff at Northwick Park and University Collage Hospitals, to the team on the drug trial unit, and of course my own personal matron Marcia.
