Just six months ago Maureen was diagnosed with MND and it’s heart wrenching to see how this disease is affecting her body, a healthy wife, mother and Nana can now only communicate by writing on a white board due to the lose of her voice and is unable to walk from one room to another unassisted. So Connie and Charlie are going to walk the three peaks over a long weekend assisted by me, starting at Ben Nevis 1345 metres then Sckafell Pike 964 metres and finally finishing at Mount Snowdon 1085 metres to raise as much as we can to help fund the research needed to stop this dreadful disease so others don’t have to go through what Maureen is battling against.
