Thank you to everyone who donated to the Royal Marsden charity when I and some friends climbed Kilimanjaro in 2010. This year we have decided to circumnavigate the Annapurna Range, a feat no less difficult than Kilimanjaro but twice as long. Again, I would like to raise money for the Marsden. Last time I did it for my nephew Mark who survived leukaemia as a child in the 1990s thanks to the treatment and care he received at the Marsden. I'm sorry to say that Mark died on Easter Monday this year having again succumbed to this dreadful disease. The fact that he survived until his 29th year and had a good and happy life is all thanks to the advances in cancer research that donations have helped to achieve. Please give again to this amazing cause and maybe help people like Mark survive even further into the future. Our walk is fully personally funded so all of your donation goes to the Marsden.
