Story
In June 2011, I and 14 other intrepid volunteers joined Steve Prescott to help raise money for his foundation. We cycled from Lands End to John O’Groats in nine days and as always with the SPF, this was not considered to be extreme enough so it was decided that we would scale the three highest National Peaks along the way, Snowden, Scafell & Ben Nevis. This meant at times it was necessary to cycle more than 100 miles and climb a mountain in one day.
The event was hugely beneficial financially and everyone’s kind donations helped raise more than £30,000 to the cause.
An inspiration to many and awarded an MBE in the 2010 New Years Honours List for his services to Rugby League and Charity work, Steve sadly lost his battle with a rare form of stomach cancer and passed away in November of last year.

To help keep his charity alive, I have decided to take part in another of the foundations events. The event will take place on the weekend of June 7/8 and consist as follows: -
Day 1 – 125miles with 5,500ft of hills to climb
Day 2 – 130miles with 8,500ft of hills to climb
Only a month later, the exact same route will be used by and test the best cyclists in the world in the Tour De France. You can read more about the event at: -

I kindly ask if you would be willing to sponsor me and help reach my target of £400.00
Thank you
Steve
