In March 2012, I (Steve) was diagnosed with Testicular Cancer requiring Chemotherapy treatment for three months. This was followed by many months of recovery, before eventually going back to work and re-starting my life! 

Whilst not life threatening, the cancer still hit my family & I hard and changed my life in so many ways. Throughout this time I had fantastic support from Macmillan and experienced first hand the incredible hard work the nurses and volunteers do in support of cancer patients and their families. As fundraising is hugely important to Macmillan, I always wanted to 'repay' Macmillan for what they did for me and decided to ask my good friend Lloyd to join me in riding from Lands End to John o'Groats unsupported. All the money we raise will go directly to Macmillan, we will not be doing this with expensive support from a travel company - its not a holiday, honest!
