Having discovered the hard way that sitting on trains to get to work, sitting behind desks telling people about law, sitting in cars driving children around and sitting in pubs when we're allowed are not in fact the key to eternal youth we decided to do something that was not sitting for a change whilst we still could.

The result of this decision is that we entered the Race to the Stones.  This is an event that takes place along 100 kilometres of the Ridgeway (an ancient trackway believed to be England's oldest road) between Oxfordshire and the great stone circle at Avebury in Wiltshire.  Some people run this in one day, others run it in two days.  We know our limitations so we are walking it in two days on 11th and 12th July 2015.

Clearly we are going to need a certain amount of motivation in order to complete what is more than two marathons back to back so we hope that you will be able to provide us with some of this by sponsoring us to do it on behalf of The Kingsley Organisation

You will almost certainly not have heard of The Kingsley Organisation, but it is a charity with which Steve has been involved for a few years that helps disabled people (particularly those with learning disabilities) to participate as much as they are able in society.  It is a small charity so anything that you can spare does make a real difference to the great work that it does amongst these vulnerable people.
