We all know people who have needed the help of Macmillan in some of their darkest hours, and some who have lost their fight. A group of us in Somerset are doing this walk in memory of Ash Gray, one of the parents from my son's class, and an all round good guy, but also for some of the other people we all know who have been taken from us before their time by cancer. In my case this includes my aunt - Gill Miller, who was quite simply one of the kindest people you could ever meet.
