Britain's Ocean City Half Marathon · 20 May 2018
As a Headway Shropshire ABICS support worker I work with amazing people who have survived an Acquired Brain Injury. I support ABI survivors in their own homes to improve their independence and enable them to regain confidence in skills in all aspects of daily life.
Just 5 years ago I weighed 22 stone, as you can see in the photo above. I decided it was time to get fit and joined the gym. As I increased my levels on the tread mill I managed to lose 6 stone over the next 3 years.
I am now ready to run my first half Marathon and want to do this to increase awareness of brain injury and raise money for Headway Shropshire.
All donations will be appreciated to support me in the 13.1 miles of the Britain's Ocean City Half Marathon in Plymouth.
