In January unfortunately my Granddad passed away and was the last of my Grandparents! I have always looked up to them and respected them immensely. I was so influenced by both Granddads regarding the war; I actually joined the British Army in 1991 and served for 5 years, touring in Bosnia & Northen Ireland. I will never forget my junior years with both sets of Grandparents which made the whole of December feel like Christmas and Santa Clause feel like the real Santa Clause. I have great respect for the elderly thanks to my relations.

This would be my first Marathon and Help The Aged is the first charity that came to mind because of the above reasons. I just wish everyone would appreciate the elderly as I do!!!! By running for Help The Aged I believe that I am putting something back into the community - So please Sponsor me!!!
