In April 2015 our daughter was born at 23 + 1 day gestation. Ava was a little fighter. Ava had a number of health issues , a hole in the heart, a cleft pallet and extreme prematurity. Ava gave us 6 incredible weeks which we forever hold dear and passed away in June 2015. NMH Foundation became a very close charity to us both and gave us and outlet to raise money on behalf of the foundation in Ava’s name. We’ve run two separate events raising in excess of 4000€. 

I spotted NMH were doing virtual fundraising for the month of April. The idea is to walk from your work place or home and back to Holles Street. It’s hard to believe that on the 19th of April Ava would have been 7. A day doesn’t go by that myself and Sarah don’t think about her. I can’t think of a better reason to get involved. I have set a goal of my distance I really hope you can spare something small to help the NMH Foundation.
