I have set up this page as I want to raise awareness of a condition that has had a huge impact on our family.

My little brother Paul suffered with this condition for 30 years. For much of his life he not only took every opportunity but he exceeded everyone's expectations by becoming the 2nd placed skater in the UK for under 16s. He never let his illness hold him back and he never used his condition as an excuse. He was a fighter. 

Around 4 years ago the condition, which often takes hold much sooner, really began to make an impact on Paul. Sadly, not long after his 30th birthday, Paul lost his fight.

Paul always had an American dream - to take off his mask and travel stateside. He never did make that dream come true. But his courage and his strength have inspired me to want to try to raise money and help other people and their families who suffer with this terrible illness.

I'm incredibly proud of my brother and I know he would really appreciate any donation you make to help other people fight like he did.
