Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am raising money for SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity. SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity, has been providing lifelong support to our Forces and their families since 1885. Last year our teams of volunteers and employees helped more than 85,000 people in need, from Second World War veterans to young men and women who have served in more recent conflicts, and their families.

I have recently completed a project in Aigburth, Liverpool which involved converting a 19th Century Villa into 14 apartments (Alexandra House). When looking into the history of the building I found that one former use had been a local branch for the SSAFA charity. I then began to research the causes that SSAFA supported. This then confirmed my desire to raise money for the charity.

I  will be running the London Marathon on 3rd October 2021 in aid of SSAFA the Armed Forces charity with a commitment to raise a minimum of £2000. Any donation no matter how big or small will be greatly appreciated.
