Between midday on the 16th November and midday on the 17th November I, along with other runners, am taking part in a 24 hour run/walk relay in Central Manchester consisting of a series of 5km runs.  My aim is to try to complete 17 of them = 85km, the equivalent of 2 marathons across the 24 hours. There will be rest breaks in between!

Greater Manchester Mayor’s Charity raises funds to support homelessness initiatives across the city region. Nobody in our city region should be without a safe, secure place to call home. Yet there are many for whom this is out of reach. It isn't right. Not anywhere, but certainly not here.
