Every day in the UK around 14 babies die before, during or soon after birth.That means nearly every two hours a family is faced with the devastation of the death of their baby.

Twenty five years ago we were one of those families when our son Jack died and was stillborn. On the day of his death, in the many months that followed, Sands played a huge part in supporting us - through their Helpline and a local volunteer group.
