Hornsey YMCA helps vulnerable young people, their families & the community, at times of need. We predominantly provide hostel accommodation & support to transform young homeless people's lives. Many young homeless people arrive at the YMCA hostel with nothing, having fled abuse at home, or are already homeless and have turned to petty crime. We support their transition to independent living, and into work.

 

•           £5 could provide a young person fleeing abuse, with a wash kit and toothbrush on their first night in our hostel.

•           £10 could provide a hot evening meal and breakfast

•           £35 could provide one night’s accommodation

•           £150 could provide computer training enabling a homeless young person to gain employment

•           £200 provides a young person, who has turned their life around, with training to divert others away from crime.
