We are powered by people. We’re here to find a cure and improve lives, together.

Story

At the age of 46 I was very unfit and ate lots of crisps. Coincidently, I was also diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease - a progressive neurological condition. Amongst other things, Parkinson's gradually takes away your balance and coordination and can make everyday tasks more difficult. Regular exercise can help slow progression of the disease, so I started running. After my daughter ran the half marathon in 2022, I thought 'I should do that, it will get me fit and I can raise some money'. So at 50, I'm going to attempt my first half marathon and I would be very grateful for your donation to help find a cure, however small. I still eat a lot of crisps
