Waverley Scarecrow Festival · 30 September 2018

The Dr Ted children’s appeal raises money to fund equipment, resources & projects which help our youngest patients & their families have the best experience of staying in hospital as possible.

Story

The Waverley Events Team did an amazing job organising the Scarecrow Festival.

Some of you may not be aware money was being raised for Dr Ted's (Charity info below).

£120 was raised, most of which was donated by a seller; Spud Buddies and the proceeds from the guess the weight of the cake competition.

Personally I think £120 is too low for an estate like Waverley. We have nearly 700 members in the forum. I'd like to see how much more we as a community can give to this fantastic local hospital and charity.

48hrs to raise £1500. That's just over £2 a member. Can we do it!?

Thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity.

The charity is here to help patients at Rotherham Hospital and in the community. Thanks to the generosity of the people of Rotherham, and of colleagues at The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust, the charity continues to be able to buy what the NHS funds cannot or should not afford.
