Story
This October, we will be taking on 90 miles each for Mind — every step for someone who feels they’ve run out of options.
This challenge is especially close to my heart. We are doing it in memory of Levi Bradley, the much-loved son of a close family friend, who tragically took his own life very recently at just 23 years old. Levi’s loss is a devastating reminder of how important it is to talk about mental health, to reach out, and to make sure support is there when it’s needed most.
Right now, Mind’s phone lines are the busiest they’ve ever been. In the UK, 1 in 4 of us will face a mental health problem this year — but far too many still wait in silence. Mind is often a lifeline: on the phone, in local communities, online, and fighting for change so that no one is left behind.
By supporting our joint 90-mile challenge each, you’ll be helping to ensure that vital information and support is always there — on Mind’s website, through their helplines, and within their supportive online community, Side by Side.
If you’re able, please donate to our fundraising page. Together, we can honour Levi’s memory and help make sure others never feel alone.
Thank you 💙
