Challenge Done!!

We have successfully completed our Premiership Football Ground Dash, and did so in a time of 19 hours and 4 minutes!

We are STILL aiming to reach our target of £1500, and will announce the winners of our prizes at the beginning of January, to allow all pledges of money to come rolling in!

The journey itself was very tiring, yet very enjoyable - and it was an eye opener to see to diverse range of quality in stadia that the Premiership has to offer.  The Emirates Stadium of Arsenal stood out for us as the most impressive!!

Thanks to everyone who has donated so much money for the RSPCA Halifax & District branch so far - and we know there is still a lot more money yet to come!!

6th November - A superb prize has been donated to us by Chelsea Football Club, which one lucky person who sponsors us £5 or more will win!  A signed Chelsea shirt made it's way to us within 2 days of us writing to Chelsea, and is currently drumming up a lot of comments from those who have seen it.  A picture of the shirt will shortly be appearing on this page, so keep checking back here over the next few days!  If you haven't sponsored us already, then do so securely on here!!

Well - welcome to our Premiership Football Ground Dash fundraising webpage. As animal lovers, we've decided that we would like to raise as much money as possible for a very worthy cause, who do a fantastic job throughout Calderdale.

Our Mission:  To visit every Premiership Football Ground in England PLUS Wembley Stadium within 24 hours.

Our Aim: To raise well over £1000 for the RSPCA Halifax and District Branch.

The Important Bit.....

We hope that you can dig deep in to your pockets and donate as much money as you can for the RSPCA Halifax and District branch, and support us in my challenge.

The RSPCA Halifax & District works to promote kindness and prevent and suppress cruelty to animals throughout Calderdale, West Yorkshire. It advocates responsible pet ownership, through education, and delivers effective relief of animal suffering within the confines of the law. Last year its activities included re-homing 1036 animals, giving veterinary treatment to 331 animals and neutering and microchipping many more. This is the work that your donation will contribute towards. 

The Challenge.....  

Well, we will be leaving Fratton Park, Portsmouth on 2nd December 2006 - in an attempt to get round all 20 of the Premiership Football Grounds in England, PLUS the new Wembley "Stadium" (building site?).

It looks to be a tough task, but we're looking forward to it, and confident of completing it within the 24 hour time limit AND not picking up any speeding fines along the way!

Keep checking back to this page for updates on our challenge, our probable route, the monies raised so far, and any publicity announcements which are forthcoming. We're also hoping that the clubs that we will be visiting on 2nd and 3rd of December will donate some form of prize for us to auction or raffle off - so if you support a Premier League team, donate - then keep coming back to see how you can win!
