My name is Steven Lister, I am 26 years old and this summer I will be raising money for the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign. I will be doing this in three ways, the first will be walking the Offa's Dyke Trail. I will be starting around the 21st July hoping to finish within 8 days... Blisters pending - It took 11 days, which seeing as I underestimated how hard it would be, im very happy. The second will be the BUPA Great North Run on Sunday 16th September that I have run for this charity for the last few years. Finally, the third of the trio will be the Great South Run, which will be 10 miles and the end of the 3 events. 

I have been raising for Muscular Dystrophy as I have grown up seeing the personal effects it can have on the person and the people around those affected. Myself being one. 

I am hoping to raise £500 this year and raise some interest about the work they do. So please, if you have a moment, look at their website and see. 

They do great work in raising money to support people affected by the conditions they also research. They try to find the potential for a cure, but also how best to manage day to day life. To quote their page:
