Brighton Marathon 2016 · 17 April 2016 ·

The aim of the Sussex Wildlife Trust is to conserve Sussex landscape, wildlife and its habitats and to use its knowledge and expertise to help the people of Sussex to enjoy, understand and take action.

Story

I support the Sussex Wildlife Trust and get involved in volunteering with them because they are dedicated to preserving and promoting the incredible natural spaces that we all enjoy across Sussex.

Research is proving that spending time outdoors and in nature is beneficial to our health.  It's not rocket science is it?!  Being outdoors makes us feel good.

And at a time when so many species are endangered or at risk of becoming endangered, the natural world needs the Wildlife Trust's to champion it and make sure it stays front and centre of political debate.

I've decided to run the Brighton Marathon for Sussex Wildlife Trust because I value the natural world around me and if I can raise some money to help the cause then that's great!  Also, I got a bit fat over Christmas so this is helping me to get fit again haha!
