A Very Voges Marathon(This is going to hurt)(A lot)

Brighton Marathon 2015 · 12 April 2015 ·
So if you've been living under a rock for a while you might not have heard that I'm running the Brighton Marathon on behalf of the excellent mental health charity, Mind. Now I'm well underway with my training and although it is getting difficult I am sure that even if I have to crawl over the finish line, I will finish the Brighton marathon on April 12th.
I decided to run the marathon for my own mental health, and that's why I think it's especially important that I'm running on behalf of the UK's leading mental health charity. I have long struggled with anxiety and although I have learned to manage it better in recent years, it is a constant battle that I will have to deal with my entire life. I have been lucky to have an excellent family and many great friends who have supported me along the way and helped me overcome many of the difficulties I have encountered. However, there are many men and women in the UK who don't have these excellent support systems and are in desperate need of help. Mind provides support and help to the people who are scared and need help, the people who don't have the support they need.
I ask that you help, and donate money for Mind in the hopes of turning around the dreadful mental health epidemic that is happening across the UK right now. Even if you can't donate, I hope that you do reach out to the people around you who are at risk and let them know that no matter how far away they feel at times, that you are always near. The first step in helping those lost to their own mental health is changing the attitude we have towards it and we must all do our part. So please help out in anyway you can, and please come laugh at me limp around town when marathon day rolls around.
