Steve is climbing the O2 · 7 October 2017

Following on from last years sucessful trip, we would like to take the families we are supporting in 2018.

Story

Steve is taking on the challenge of climbing the O2, and for a guy who feels two rungs on a ladder is far too high, it is certainly a challenge!

He is doing it though to raise funds to take all the Post Pals families to Chessington World of Adventures in 2018. All the families have a seriously ill child and for many of them breaks away are normally impossible due to finances and the practicalities.

Post Pals took 60 families to Chessington in 2016 and for many it was full of firsts - their first weekend away since the life changing diagnosis or first time on rides (rides were stopped so children and equipment could be lifted on). Sadly for some families it was also a weekend of lasts, the last weekend hospital-free or their last holiday before their child passed away.

It's for these reasons Steve is going to conquer his fear of heights and help raise the funds to take 70 families on a weekend away so they can create happy memories together.

Post Pals is a small charity set up by Steve's daughter, it is volunteer run and every penny donated will be spent on the trip. It costs £415 per family and includes everything from park admission, hotel, meals, and extra treats.
